Deaf Community

Warrington Deaf Social Club

​We meet every Wednesday 12 noon-4pm and then again from 7pm-10.30pm, Friday evenings from 7-11 pm and some Saturdays. We are also open on Thursdays for

Sign Choir (every other week) from 7.30pm and for Snooker League match nights.

Deaf Cafe is usually on the last Saturday of the month,

12pm onwards.

 

 

BSL Signing Choir

 

Warrington BSL Signing Choir (established over 20 years & reformed in 2011) practise every other Thursday in the Deaf Centre. We perform in and beyond Cheshire at various events.  In the past we have performed with Peter Gabriel at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester and Rod Stewart at Blackpool Football Stadium.

Equipment Aids Room

Our Equipment Aids Room (EAR) is maintained by Warrington Borough Council and is open every Wednesday afternoon, or by appointment. Please contact the Sensory & Telecare Services Team at Warrington Borough Council if you would like to make an appointment: 01925 444239.

 

Visitors will be able to see and try out a variety of technical aids designed to support the daily life of a Deaf or deafened person or those with

vision-impairment.

British Sign Language & Deaf Awareness Courses

Warrington Deaf Centre hold various British Sign Language courses leading

to accredited qualifications.
