Warrington Deaf Centre named Community Support Centre of the Year!
Warrington Deaf Centre is proud to announce that it has been named Community Support Centre of the Year at The Prestige Awards, recognising the Centre’s outstanding contribution to the local community.
The award reflects the hard work and dedication of the Centre Manager, Richard Jones and Community Development Officer, Emily Keatley, who have played a key role in developing and strengthening the Centre over the past year. Their efforts have included the successful launch of new projects, the recruitment of additional staff, and the delivery of effective and meaningful sessions that support Deaf people across Warrington and the surrounding areas.
In addition to expanding services, Warrington Deaf Centre has been proactive in promoting Deaf Awareness, working with a wide range of groups and organisations throughout Warrington and the surrounding areas. This work has helped to improve understanding, inclusion and accessibility for the Deaf community.
Winning this award is a significant achievement for Warrington Deaf Centre and highlights the Centre’s continued commitment to empowering Deaf people, building stronger communities and delivering high-quality support services.
