Our training can take place in a variety of ways:

Deaf Awareness Session feedback
Our Centre Manager recently delivered an engaging Deaf Awareness session at St. Matthew Church Hall. The session covered key Deaf Awareness tips and statistics, as well as an introduction to the basics of British Sign Language, helping to build understanding and confidence in communicating with Deaf individuals.

Members said they felt deeply moved by Richard's experiences and those of other deaf people, especially children. The resilience that was demonstrated was both amazing and awe-inspiring, and I think many of us felt quite ashamed that we have been so oblivious to the difficulties that people who are deaf have faced, and continue to face. So thank you for both increasing our awareness and sharing personal stories. It was a really interesting afternoon".
